Waiting is one of life's most challenging experiences that tests our faith, affects our relationships, and can distort our view of God. Through the parable of the faithful servants in Luke 19, Jesus teaches that faithful waiting isn't passive but requires active engagement with what God has given us. Each servant received a mina and was told to engage in business until the master's return. The faithful servants invested and multiplied their resources, while the fearful servant hid his out of fear. Our view of God determines our level of participation in His kingdom - seeing Him as harsh leads to hiding, while recognizing His goodness leads to faithful stewardship. God rewards faithfulness not because He's demanding, but because He's generous and wants to entrust us with more.
