Prayer is more than just talking to God—it's an invitation for God to be present in our everyday lives. Jesus taught His disciples a framework for prayer that begins with recognizing our relationship with God as Father and includes reverence, surrender, dependence, forgiveness, and guidance. When we pray 'Your kingdom come,' we acknowledge Jesus as King and surrender our own kingdoms. Jesus encourages us to approach God with bold, shameless persistence, knowing that He is a good Father who delights in giving us Himself through the Holy Spirit. Prayer is simply practicing the presence of Jesus in our daily lives.
