The Parable of the Sower reveals how different hearts respond to God's Word. Jesus describes four types of soil: the hard path (closed hearts that reject the Word), rocky soil (shallow hearts lacking depth), thorny soil (distracted hearts choked by worries, riches, and pleasures), and good soil (receptive hearts that produce abundant fruit). The way we receive God's Word determines its impact in our lives. Jesus continues to generously sow His Word regardless of our heart condition, and even hardened, shallow, or distracted hearts can be transformed through His patient work.
