Luke 3:23-4:13

After His baptism, Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness for 40 days of fasting, prayer, and facing temptation. Satan tempted Jesus three ways: to turn stones into bread, to gain worldly power through worship, and to test God's protection. Jesus countered each temptation with Scripture, demonstrating the importance of God's Word as our defense. His wilderness experience teaches us that our Savior understands our struggles, obedience matters more than comfort, God's plan is better than shortcuts, and patience is part of God's process.
